All I Wanna Do was released on 11 August 1997 as the first single from Dannii’s third studio album, Girl (1997).

All I Wanna Do reached the top five in the UK becoming her first top-five hit, and was the first in 13 consecutive Dance Chart number ones for Dannii, stretching between 1997 and 2015. In 2017, the Official UK Charts Company revealed that All I Wanna Do is Dannii’s best-selling UK single.
